Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Plyamed LLC ("Plya Med," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you visit plyamed.com/a/sass, book a demo, or communicate with us by email, phone or text message about the Plya Med White Label Platform (together, the "Services"). Data your company loads into the platform itself after you become a customer is governed by your customer agreement and, where it includes protected health information, a Business Associate Agreement.
Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact details such as your name, work email, phone number (including mobile number), company name, role and team size.
- Details you share when booking or attending a demo, such as what you sell and the tools you use today.
- Messages you send us by email, text message, chat or phone.
Information collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the date and time of your visit.
- Cookies, pixels and similar technologies, described below.
How we use information
- To schedule and hold demos, answer questions and provide information about the platform.
- To send you messages you asked for or agreed to receive, including appointment confirmations and reminders by email and text message.
- To prepare proposals, onboard new customers and provide customer support.
- To measure and improve our website, advertising and Services.
- To prevent fraud, secure our systems and comply with law.
Cookies, pixels and advertising
This page uses the Meta Pixel and the Google tag to measure visits and demo-booking clicks from our ads and to show relevant ads to similar businesses. These tools may collect event data such as page views and button clicks along with device identifiers. You can manage ad preferences in your Meta ad settings and Google My Ad Center, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Text messaging (SMS) and mobile information
If you give us your mobile number and opt in, we may text you about your demo and account, such as booking confirmations, reminders, rescheduling and follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our SMS Terms.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and message delivery, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers that help us run the Services, such as hosting, scheduling, email and text message delivery, CRM and analytics. They may use the information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising partners (Meta and Google) receive website event data as described above. Mobile numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared for their marketing.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Plya Med, our customers or others.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We keep contact and demo information for as long as needed for the purposes above, generally no longer than three years after our last contact with you, unless the law requires longer. Records of SMS consent and opt-outs are kept as long as needed to honor them.
Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest and role-based access controls. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP, and out of marketing email with the unsubscribe link in any email.
- Ask to access, correct or delete your personal information by emailing support@plyamed.com.
- Depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have additional rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
We respond to requests within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.
Children
The Services are intended for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new effective date, and if the changes are material we will give additional notice where required.
